AF Chevy Brings Home The Silverware From Ultrace

There’s no doubt that, it’s been a great year for our world-famous Project Stepside. After undergoing a 2-year-long nut and bolt rebuild, the Chevy has been back on the street for our 2024 European Tour, having been on display at XS CarNight Croatia, and bagging the top spot at the enormous Tuning World Bodensee in Germany. The next stop was one of our favourite events, a show we’ve been visiting since way back in 2014; the mighty Ultrace in Poland.

Now, we’ve always made an extra special effort for Ultrace. So, after all the excitement of Ultrace 2023 where we rolled out our Drift Datsun for the first time, this year we not only had the world debut from our Finesse Racing 2JZ powered LTO BMW E36, and the Datsun getting a whole new look. But we also prepped and shipped out the Chevy to display on a podium at the massive venue.

And, what’s more, out of 1300 of the top cars from all around the world, the big V8 Pickup was picked for the coveted Ultrace Top 16, bringing home one of the most prestigious trophies in the business.

Project Stepside - our 1954 Chevy Pickup - has become one of the most iconic, not to mention most popular, builds from here at Auto Finesse. Originally conceived for the 20th Anniversary of our company, here in its second guise there’s yet more stunning details and a whole new paintjob for this season. Well, what a result that was! Although this particular addition to the AF Project Fleet was built purely for the TeamAF family, we’re proud of not only the recognition from the Ultrace judges, but much more importantly how popular it is with you guys – the showgoers and tuning enthusiasts from all around the UK and Europe.
